Another Story of Vocational Inspiration

Hear the story of a pediatric critical care nurse and hospital administrator got in touch with her passion to speak for the voiceless and ended up founder of a non-profit institute and an international film writer and producer! As president of a non-profit bioethics institute, Jennifer has been quoted on ABC, CBC, PBS, and NPR. She has written for the San Francisco Chronicle and the American Journal of Bioethics. She recently finished a documentary film, which has sold in over 10 countries and is showing all over the US since its August 2010 release.

Design(ed) for Living

We were thrilled to have Dave Evans, instructor in design at Stanford, to share his lessons on applying “design thinking” that has been so successful in launching and improving products to (re)launching and improving people! It was both smart and funny — a great listen if you could not make it and a great refresher if you were there. We have divided the hour-long talk into 8 segments so you can listen to it in segments.
Here’s what people said about Dave’s talk:

“Fantastic presentation! Very thought provoking!”
“Challenged me to think deeper about making a meaningful difference and to rethink what I do and how I do it!”
“I am just now beginning to solve the question I’ve been asking myself since high school –- what is it that I want to do?”
