Before VOCA, all I thought about my future was that I had to know what I wanted to be RIGHT NOW! I thought I had to figure out my future so that when I went to college I would have to study that or else I wouldn’t be able to find a job! What I really liked about VOCA was that there were real people there who didn’t have everything figured out but they were still successful and happy. Because of VOCA, I am now thinking about my future more calmly. I have learned that it is ok to change careers. I don’t feel the same pressure I did before to have everything figured out right now.  – Hannah, age 17

Cameron

Before VOCA I was thinking about what I have to do to achieve my dreams, but I never thought about whether my dreams were me. VOCA gave me clarity by giving me a structure to discover the proven traits of people with my personality and brain structure. I am now still actively seeking my dreams, but have been awakened to other possibilities which I am also looking into.  – Cameron, age 16

Rachel

Before VOCA I had actually thought a lot about my future and what I wanted to do, but it kept changing and I had no idea what I was supposed to do. Through VOCA, I learned a lot about who I was and why I was that way and how to use my gifts in a workplace. It was also really fun, the leaders were great, and they always had fun games to play. Plus the people that came in and took the time to talk to us were really cool and doing jobs that they loved, which was awesome to hear about. Thanks to VOCA I’m thinking about how I can use my personality type in a job as well as try to combine it with what I love.. – Rachel, age 16
